In situations of divorce, loss or life changes, children and teens can suffer the most as they seek stability and safety. Sessions for children and teens are approximately 60 minutes are tailored in many ways to fit your child’s needs. We have experience in working with attention and behavior disorders, physical and sexual abuse victims, identity issues, grief, self-harming, eating disorders and other struggles facing young people today. We would be honored to come alongside your family as you walk through difficulty.

Leadership 101: Girls who Lead, Follow

This is a four or eight week educational counseling group for girls which meets once per week for ninety minutes. The group’s focus is on leadership development and contains ten tenants of character development through counselor-facilitated peer interaction. The young girls are encouraged to hear from one another to foster a sense of belonging and a place to put the leadership into practice.

This positive sense of self serves as a foundation on which to build character that exemplifies the One we follow, Jesus Christ. The group has a Christian world-view and incorporates Biblical principles such as; humility, grace, kindness, self-control and a love for the Lord as we find our true selves in Him.
